After School Program

Begins September 19th, 2016!
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 3-5:30 Wednesday: 2:30 – 5:30

ANV, Project Access and Oakland Parks and Recreation have come together to offer our After School Program open to all Tassafaronga Village residents K-8. We offer homework help, extracurricular activities, occasional field trips and snacks. This is a free program to Tassafaronga Residents. Wellness Classes

Wellness classes are chosen based on residents’ interest. In the last year, Project Access has sponsored the cost of Zumba, self-defense, cooking and nutrition classes, and more. Classes offered in the Tassa I Community Room. Wellness classes are open to adults and children! Tassa Only

Free Food Pantry and Happy Hour

Tassa’s free Food Pantry is open on the third Friday of each month from 10 am – 6 pm at 1001 83rd Ave. first floor (look for the Acta Non Verba sign).

Want to sample new dishes from the food pantry and our very own ANV farm? Beginning September 16th, 2016, join us for our new happy hour on the third Friday of each month from noon – 5 pm in the ANV office 1001 83rd Ave. Sample dishes and get new recipes to try at home! Community Farm Day

Bring your creativity, skills, friends, family and laughs to our monthly Community Farm Day every first Saturday of the month from 12- 4 pm at ANV Farm in Tassafaronga Park. We always have a lot of work to do and can use your help. We also host exciting and educational workshops where you’ll go home with new skills and sometimes a garden goody. Learn gardening skills, get some fresh air, and kick back with other community members.

Volunteer today! Wear work clothes, comfortable closed-toe shoes and bring water. Refreshments provided.
