Andrew Taw

Andrew Taw’s primary love has been serving youth for the past ten years. He is currently the Academic Coordinator for Holy Names University Upward Bound, an organization that serves low-income and first-generation high school students in Oakland from rising 9th grade to graduation helping them matriculate into college and beyond. 

 

He is an active member of the Rotary e-Club of Silicon Valley, works with foundation grants in Rotary District 5170, and the founder of Laptops for Good, a project that raises funds to award laptops to low-income, college-bound, high school seniors. He also serves in NORCAL WESTOP, a regional association of educators where he has worked in advocacy and resource development. 

 
He is a proud alum of UC Davis with a BA in Literature and Saint Mary’s College’ with a MFA in Creative Writing.
