Week One/October 9th: Self Care Talks

Intro: What is “self care”? Self-care is any activity that we do intentionally in order to take care of our mental, emotional, social, spiritual and physical health. Self-care improves mood, reduces stress and anxiety and is key to a healthier relationship with ourselves.

Residents will engage in an conversation around the term “self-care”. We will discuss what selfcare looks like in activity form and what benefits can be attained through its practice.
