Fall/Winter Wellness Series with BE (PA)
Week Eight/November 27th: Tea and Relaxation Circle
Time: 1 hour
Intro: Taking time for ourselves to sit and be still is healthy for us, and allows us to come back to center when things in our outside world become chaotic.
Main Activity: In this closing circle, we will take time to relax while sipping on some herbal teas. During this time we will touch on what we will take away from the prior self-care weeks and how we can do all of things in ur everyday.
**Teas are known for their calming effects & can used as a sleeping aid**
Set out teas, cups, honey, etc
Allow residents will select their tea of choice and prepare how they like it
Form a sitting circle and offer props for comfortable sitting
Begin conversation and encourage guest to open up and share what they enjoy about self care
Outro: Thank residents for their time that they have committed to taking care of themselves by showing up for Self-Care.
