“No Limit Leadership” Youth Development Program
Camp ANV’s “No Limit Leadership” Program is designed to prepare middle and high school students for jobs at camp and future careers working with kids. This program will be a great way to display your youth development experience to future employers/colleges!
We will be providing Career Development, Job & College Visits, Restorative Justice Training, Youth Development, Social Emotional Learning, and First Aid/CPR, as well as a hands-on service project to help make ANV a Zero-Waste Certified Organization.
There will also be incentives (such as a cultural exchange trip to Kauai, Hawai’i) for students in the program who maintain a high GPA and stay on track to graduate.
Wednesdays from 4pm – 7pm: participants will learn youth development techniques such as: Social Emotional Learning, Restorative Justice, Behavior Management, CPR/First Aid, and more!
Saturdays from 11am – 4pm: participants will learn and practice various team-building and ice breaker games that will help their future camper groups have fun and bond; engage in career development workshops that will prepare them for future job applications and interviews; and work together to complete a service-learning project to reduce waste at ANV’s camps and farms. Lunch will be included!
15 weeks, every Wednesday and Wednesday, January 18, 2023 through May 13, 2023.
High school participants will also have the chance to get hands-on work experience as PAID Junior Counselors at our Spring Break Camp: April 3-7, 2023.
